Today we went to The Get it to Go Bakery and Country Store.
They graciously opened up for us; they are closed on Mondays.
They showed us how to bake pumpkin muffins: two batches, one sugar-free and one with sugar.
We were broken up into two groups.
We had such a wonderful time measuring and mixing.
They really know how to make sugar-free food taste good; we have a few diabetic students, so we especially appreciate the inclusivity.
They offer a wide variety of sugar-free baked goods (and many with sugar as well); we love everything we’ve tried!
They even made coffee for us!
We are so thankful for this generous experience!!!
